T.S. Swiftsure have their own marching band that participates in many events, which helps to raise funds for the ship and allow the cadets to develop a new skills.
Band practice is on Thursdays from 6:30pm to 8:00pm at the Copthorne Village Hall. During the evening, cadets are taught how to play marching tunes by the officers and instructors that have been in the band for many years completely free. Swiftsure provides the instruments for the cadets.
